When working from home you have the luxury of your bed and home comforts.
When working away from home, the bed may be uncomfortable, the food in the hotel not up to scratch and noisy residents literally make you lose sleep.
The upside is that there are no beds to make, no household chores, no cooking and once you have finished work, you are free to watch whatever you want on the television, without any arguments.
The long days of work can be ofsetted by venturing out to eat at a restaurant that you wouldn’t normally, as it is generally too expensive. Due to work expenses, you can treat yourself to that extra portion of ice cream.
Being away from the family for work, can be hard, but also a good time to reflect on life and the blessings we have.
