Just over a week ago, I was enjoying quality time away with family and friends to celebrate a coming birthday.
A week later I have, been stuck in bed with a heavy cold and the week before seems like a blur. My head was heavy, at one point I had non stop sneezing episodes and my appetite went. How life can change from one moment to the next.
I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time away and also have a home to recover from this dreaded cold. During me feeling a little sorry for myself, I remembered that I am fortunate to be able to put the heating on, which for a lot of people at this present time is a difficult decision due to the cost of living – especially heating costs.
So, the week after the week before hasn’t really been that bad, as I have the memories to look back on and my health is getting better.
