Renewal

Look now towards the future

There’s nothing in the past

It is but the place of memories

And pain that shouldn’t last.

The future is where you find it

Some bright and sunny day

Where peace and love is common

And man has learned a better way.

You know all of the lessons

You’ve read all of the books

But still you live in contrast

With lives needing second looks.

Take time for reflection

Let go the days of pain

And go in search of sunshine

That comes from cleansing rain.
