2021 is 15 days old and so many things have happened in those 15 days. Some people are now realising the seriousness of the pandemic and taking heed.
Vaccinations around the world are being given to the most vulnerable, more in some places than others. Volunteer workers are helping these numbers become higher each day – enabling the normality of the world to become a near reality.
America has seen home grown terrorism on a scale that has not been seen for a long time. A new President has officially been elected and starts his term on 20th January as well as the first African-Indian American, woman to be Vice President.
On a lighter note, hopefully, all the new year resolutions have been continued. If not, it is not too late to start the new exercise programme, healthier eating, starting that new hobby and generally being kinder to ourselves. New Year, New start.
The first days of 2021 have been hopeful in some ways, it can only get better. Out with the old, in with the new may seem daunting, but the old is not always good and the new is not always bad.
