It has been ten years since I started in my present employment and in a month’s time, it will be my past employment, as I am embarking on a new chapter in my career. On the 6th June, I will start a new job and a new position at a company that I have been working at for eight years. Luckily, I know a lot of the people I will be working with and look forward to the new challenges that will come my way. New beginnings can be very scary, as you are not sure if they will be as you had hoped. However, staying where you were will not get you to where you want to be.
There will be a lot of learning and questions to be asked, although, I am sure this new beginning will be the change I have needed for a long time. I will be learning a lot of new office terminology and the background workings of operations for the company. Cheers to new beginnings and may we have many of them.
