After a long wait, I was able to finally see Riverdance 25th Anniversary. On first watching the lead dancers perform on television so many years ago, I have loved the dancing and especially the music behind the whole production. The saxophone has always been a favourite instrument of mine and I have learnt to appreciate the violin, which were both played in abundance at the production as well as percussion instruments. After the curtains closed for Riverdance, my mood was elevated and I was ready to take on the world. On the 1st October the world will be celebrating International World Music Day. There is not a day that I don’t listen to music (has to be loud): to lift my mood, help me through boring, repetitive work or as background noise. Music is the food for my soul, so I will be eating until I burst!
