Let’s stamp it out!

Bullying comes in all shapes, sizes and modes- men, women and children can all be bullied. The emotional, physical and psychological damage is long lasting and can often end in tragic ways. Each day should be International Stand up to Bullying Day and not just on the 18th November.

The key to any bullying situation isn’t the bully or the victim.

It’s the witness. When witnesses stand up, step in, say – in a word or deed- that nastiness won’t be tolerated in this crowd, then bullying stops. When witnesses cower or shrug, or when no one supports the brave ones who do step in, then the bully get a clear message – “Carry on.” Declaring to engage is enabling the bully.
