At this time of the year, people get colds. My little, big man insists that he is going through puberty! His voice has been deep (hoarse) for a few days and no matter how many times I tell him that the voice change is not down to puberty, he is insistent that he is of the age of going from boy to mini man.
I remember the days when he used to want constant hugs and cuddles from me when he had a cold and go to sleep with his teddy bear to give him comfort. Nowadays, poor teddy is relegated to the bookcase and only gets a look in when little, big man accidentally cleans the top of the bookcase and teddy seems to beg for attention.
Sometimes, I feel a little like teddy and want the hugs and cuddles, so the longer his 'deep' voice lasts, maybe, just maybe, my mini man will remember that mum's cuddles are good and he can hold off on the puberty lark for a while. As, I am told to believe, that is when the real moody man business starts!!!
