April the 1st, the day when pranksters get people to do things they wouldn’t normally do and to believe things they wouldn’t normally believe, due to the imagination of the pranksters.
People have been known to place post it notes on every part of a person’s house, paint an entire house pink, give someone a fake lottery ticket – where the jackpot has been won. The list goes on. In these very sad and unprecedented times, some laughter is needed. I am looking forward to knowing how people are going to prank their friends and family and see who ends up being the ‘fool’. There are several health benefits of laughter; it is a medicine for all: reducing the release of stress hormones, improving the mood, it enhances and relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after. If you are able to, try watching some comedy or playfully, prank a friend and notice your stress levels reduce.
