Laughter is the reason that I live,
The reason that I feel and think and breathe.
For every laugh I get one laugh I give,
Tis much better to give than to receive. So laugh when life gets shadowy and grim,
And seeks to quench the flame inside your soul.
A little laugh destroys the dark and dim,
And in your heart fills up the tiny hole. So give a laugh to people when they cry.
You cannot fathom how much that could do.
And maybe someday without knowing why,
Those people will return that laugh to you.
Your glass half empty? Have a little laugh;
That chuckle might just fill the other half.
