Another year older, any the wiser? Well, yes. This year I will be celebrating a big birthday – something that many years ago seemed like an ancient number.
I am very grateful for many things and being alive is one of them. I have seen my youth as an experience and adventure and I am so thankful that I made my mistakes without social media judgement.
I am grateful for family and friends who love me and I love them.
I am grateful for a full time job, which I enjoy.
I am grateful for a generally, stress free life – some of which is in my control.
I am most grateful for my health, as I am still able to do some of the things I could
when I was younger, only a little slower.
So, as my big birthday approaches, I will be celebrating my next chapter and also remembering those people who did not get this far.
