International Stress Awareness Day is on the 2nd November – during the time of uncertainty about the cost of living: the rising costs of heating, food and fuel. Everyone deals with stress in different ways, some level of stress is said to be good for us. While too little stress can lead to boredom and depression, too much can cause anxiety and poor health. The right amount of acute stress, however, tunes up the brain and improves performance and health.
When the stress levels are too much:
Do your best and let the rest go.
You can’t be perfect, no matter how hard you try, so give yourself credit for making an effort and try to stop stressing about the outcome.
